Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our US operations from India. This role will partner closely with US leadership and managers to deliver HR solutions across the employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with US HR processes, and drive a strong employee experience.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting US employees/processes, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities;
Business Partnering
Act as a trusted HR partner to US business leaders and managers.
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
Support managers with people-related decisions aligned to business goals.
Employee Lifecycle Management
Manage end-to-end HR operations for US employees: onboarding, probation, engagement, performance reviews, and exits.
Ensure seamless coordination across recruitment, payroll, benefits, and compliance teams.
Drive employee engagement initiatives for remote and onsite US teams.
US HR Compliance & Policies
Support adherence to US labor laws and HR policies (with guidance from legal/compliance teams).
Assist with documentation, audits, and HR data accuracy.
Maintain employee records in HR systems/HRIS.
Performance & Talent Support
Support goal-setting, performance review cycles, and feedback mechanisms.
Assist in identifying training and development needs.
Partner with TA for workforce planning and smooth hiring transitions.
HR Operations & Reporting
Prepare and maintain HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics for US leadership.
Ensure data accuracy across HR systems.
Support continuous improvement of HR processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in an HRBP / HR Generalist / US HR Operations role.
Experience supporting US-based employees or US HR processes from India.
Strong understanding of US HR lifecycle processes (onboarding, ER, performance, exits).
Exposure to US compliance, audits, or documentation is a strong plus.
Experience working in US time zones.
Skills & Competencies
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and remotely with US teams.
Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience in IT / Technology / Services industry.
Exposure to visas, US payroll coordination, or benefits administration.
Prior experience in a fast-growing or global organization.
