Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data strategies for complex applications.
2. Develop, design configure automation tools for automation test case execution
3. Perform manual and automated testing as necessary
4. Develop SQL queries to validate API output and backend data validation
5. Framework Development & Maintenance: Design and develop advanced automation frameworks using Python and related technologies, focusing on reusability and extensibility.(e.g. Pytest, UnitTest)
6. CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Optimize the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and feedback, ensuring seamless integration of automated tests.
7. Performance & Scalability Testing: Design and execute complex performance and scalability tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure application stability.
8. Defect Management & Analysis: Lead defect analysis and root cause investigations, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Must Have:
1. Manual Testing
2. Automation Testing using Playwright (5 to 7 years)
3. GCP migrations testing
4. Strong in DB/field level validations
Qualifications:
1. Experience: 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with a proven track record of leading automation efforts.
2. Sound knowledge of API testing and writing SQL queries to perform backend data validations.
3. Experience with automation testing tool - Playwright
4. CI/CD Mastery: Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with related tools and technologies.
5. Performance Testing Expertise: Extensive experience with performance and scalability testing tools and methodologies.
Agile Expertise: Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
As a QA Manual & Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by designing, documenting, and executing both manual and automated test cases. You will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities, including developing comprehensive test plans, performing exploratory testing, and executing functional and regression testing. This role requires close collaboration with development, product management, and support teams to ensure a high-quality product ready for release.
