Responsibilities:
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, proactive, and highly driven Product Owner to join our fast-paced product development team. This role requires prior hands-on experience working in product-focused organizations (not purely service/delivery environments). The ideal candidate is lively, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of product outcomes in an aggressively-paced execution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
Own and manage the product backlog aligned with the product roadmap and business priorities.
Translate high-level product vision into well-defined epics, user stories, and actionable tasks.
Prioritize features based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.
Execution & Sprint Governance
Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and refinement sessions.
Write clear, detailed user stories with strong acceptance criteria (BDD format preferred).
Track sprint velocity, burndown metrics, and ensure timely delivery.
Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Engineering, QA, UI/UX, and SRE teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Act as the voice of the customer and internal stakeholders.
Participate in product demos, reviews, and release readiness discussions.
Product Thinking & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to product discovery initiatives and feature validation.
Analyze user feedback and product metrics to guide decision-making.
Continuously improve backlog quality, clarity, and execution processes.
Skills:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Analyst in a product development environment.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proven experience managing product backlogs and sprint cycles.
Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced product teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
