U.S. Payroll Specialist (ADP Platform)
Job Overview
We seek a detail-oriented, service-focused Payroll Specialist to manage U.S. payroll operations via ADP. This role ensures accurate payroll delivery, adherence to compliance, client support, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP systems (GlobalView, Workforce Now, AutoPay).
- Act as a liaison with clients—respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and configure setups (e.g., PTO, 401(k), HSA).
- Conduct quarterly and year-end reconciliations, audits, historical data analysis, and generate reports.
- Monitor tax registrations, manage tracers, and ensure multi-state payroll compliance.
- Partner with internal teams (Tax, Benefits, Finance) and external vendors to resolve issues and maintain service quality.
- Maintain process documentation, update client manuals, and initiate improvement initiatives.
- Participate in system testing, rollouts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business, or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of payroll processing experience; experience with U.S. or multi-state payroll preferred.
- Proficiency with ADP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, analytical, and customer-service capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Payroll certifications (e.g., FPC, CPP).
- Experience with global payroll operations, ADP tax tools, and SAP integration.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and handling escalations.
